What Customers Are Asking
Is creatine a steroid or stimulant?
Neither! It is a natural compound that is found in your body’s muscles as well as in the brain. Creatine is a fundamental source of energy for cellular reactions throughout your body, and having adequate reserves of it can help create a wide range of health and athletic benefits.
Is creatine just for men?
Definitely not. Creatine is for men and women. It supports strength, lean muscle, performance, recovery, and cognitive function — making it a smart daily supplement for active adults of all ages.*
Is creatine only for bulking?
No! Creatine has many health benefits beyond muscle size and strength. And creatine alone won’t make you get “huge.” That comes down to consistent lifting, lots of protein, and plenty of calories!
When is the best time to take creatine?
As long as you take creatine every day, the research says it really doesn’t matter when you do it. That said, we still recommend taking either right before or right after your workout as an easy way to remember!
Can I mix creatine with other supplements?
Creatine is tasteless and odorless, which makes it a perfect match for other supplements. Two popular options include putting your daily scoop of creatine in a protein shake, a pre-workout, or adding it to an amino and hydration drink like Steel Fuel.
Should I base my creatine dose on my body size?
A large body of research supports the effectiveness of a 5 g dose of creatine for people of all body sizes.
Is this creatine naturally sweetened?
Yes. Our flavored Creatine Monohydrate is naturally sweetened with stevia and contains no artificial colors. Citric acid is included as an acidulant to balance pH and stability, not as a flavoring ingredient.
